About the Founder
Hi, I’m Jenn.
Before I ever built a brand or published a journal, I was standing in a middle school classroom teaching students how to tell stories without saying a word. For 18 years, I poured my heart into education, teaching AVID, PE and 6th–8th grade Dance. I built a choreography program where students didn’t just learn steps; they learned confidence. They learned how to accept feedback with grace. They learned leadership. They learned how to communicate emotion through music and movement.
By the time I stepped away, the program was thriving — nearly 300 students and a waitlist. It was healthy. It was growing. It was successful. And leaving it was one of the hardest acts of obedience in my life.
For years, I felt a quiet pull toward something more creative. Something that allowed me to steward stories in a different way. It was my husband, Troy — who I met in middle school at the very same campus I later taught at — who encouraged me to step into that calling fully. Stepping out in faith is rarely comfortable. But I knew I had to trust the One who was guiding me.
The Foundation Beneath It All
My heart is centered on Christ — not in a loud or performative way, but in the way I live, lead, and create. Joy. Integrity. Loyalty. Prayer. Direction. These aren’t just values I list. They are the framework of how I operate. I pray over decisions. I lead with kindness even when it isn’t returned. I believe problems are often blessings in disguise. I strive to see people through the lens of love.
Middle schoolers taught me that. They taught me patience. They taught me to never judge too quickly. They taught me how powerful it is to make someone feel seen and important. Today, I bring those same lessons into my business.
Friends have always called me the one they go to in crisis, the good listener, the safe place, the loyal friend who will tell the truth gently and then pray with you. When I started my business, I realized that gift of listening wasn’t separate from my calling, it was central to it.
I don’t create content to fill space. I listen for the story underneath it. Jennifer Suzanne Creative I chose the name Jennifer Suzanne Creative intentionally. I couldn’t confine myself to one lane because creativity for me has never been just one thing. It’s storytelling. It’s strategy. It’s prayer. It’s movement. It’s writing. It’s vision. It’s culture. It’s beauty. It’s an umbrella... and under it lives every creative expression God has placed in me.
I take on only a small number of clients at a time because this work is personal. It isn’t transactional. I come alongside you. I listen deeply. I help refine your message. I bring creativity, ideas, and direction, but also encouragement and belief in what you’re building. I thrive most alongside faith-filled and women-owned businesses, though I welcome anyone who leads with heart and integrity. I don’t sell fake. I create what is authentic, aligned, and true. Creativity as Worship
For me, creativity has always been sacred. I have written and published multiple spirit-led prayer journals — each one born from real seasons of my own life. I don’t write from theory. I write from experience. There was a long season where I deeply desired marriage — wondering why I was still single while others seemed to move forward. It wasn’t desperation. It was longing. It was prayer. It was growth. It was surrender. Out of that season came a journal for women walking through singleness — not as something lacking, but as something forming. I believe God wastes nothing. Every struggle, every unanswered prayer, every quiet ache can become something that blesses someone else. Words matter. Stories matter. Prayer matters. When we offer our gifts back to God, creativity becomes worship.
TRAVEL, CULTURE + GATHERING
Travel continues to shape how I see the world — and how I see people. One of my favorite memories is sitting in a small local coffee shop in a foreign country, observing the rhythms of life around me. The traditions. The conversations. The quiet beauty of ordinary moments. Portugal captured my heart — the kindness of the people, their depth of faith, their warmth. Italy holds a special place for obvious reasons — Troy and I were married there — and Northern Italian wines remain my favorite as a sommelier. Wine, in its history and symbolism, has always represented gathering, celebration, and communion. It’s one of the oldest shared traditions we still carry. Troy and I love cooking together, exploring new restaurants, and sharing our adventures on our TikTok, “Take You With Us.” Around a table — with good food, good wine, and meaningful conversation — stories unfold naturally. That’s what I want for my clients too. Space to gather. Space to be understood. Space to tell the story they were meant to tell.
